We are an Agriturismo in the most picturesque zone of Piemonte, very close to Alba, Asti, Acqui Terme and about 50 kilometers from Torino and an hour by auto from Genova. We are fortunate to be in an area with a rich choice of things to discover.

Many places are reachable by foot for the people that wish to see the area up close. Laura can give you advice as to the best things to see that will satisfy your interests. There are other interesting places to see via bicycle or motor scooter.

If you desire a different experience, a few steps from the Agriturismo, you can enjoy a new world aboard a four-wheeled drive off-road cycle and explore the sights of lower Monferrato with its vineyards of Moscato and Barbera d'Asti. You may choose to enjoy the valleys of the river Belbo and eventually reach the Comunità Montana dell' Alta Langa, www.freequadasti.it   

For the horseback rider, five minutes from La Mussia, you will find the Serego stables, managed by Mr. Martino. For the more adventurous, there are numerous trekking trails in the vicinity where you may choose nature or historical hikes or wine/food excursions.

For wine lovers, there are many wineries where you may taste the best wines of the area: Barbera d'Asti, Dolcetto, Barolo and Barbaresco. You may discover on your own the excellent grapes of our area and participate in various guided tastings.

In Nizza Monferrato, you may visit the Museum Bersano to discover the history of wine in our area (www.bersano.it).

Still in Nizza, you will find the Sugar Hosue, an place dedicated to sugar...an element of our daily lives. You will also see exhibitions of the clothing of the ear, the culture and history of Italy. (www.sugarhouse.it)

Another museum is the jewel of the area...the Civic Museum of Modern Art in Mombercelli (www.comune.mombercelli.at.it) and the display of bottle art (www.arteinbottiglia.comune.aglianoterme.at.it).

For golfers, our area offers many opportunities to play 18. In fact, near the Agriturismo, there is an exclusive course that is one of the best in the area and provides terrific views as you play.

For a different afternoon, there is the go-kart track in Nizza Monferrato (www.pista-winner.com).

Finally, after your afternoon of nature, why not enjoy a visit to one of the hot springs in our area. About 20 kilometers from La Mussia is the Centro Benessere Caudalie with their fantatic treatments based on wine and the hot baths of Acqui Terme, famous for its sulfur baths known world-wide.

At La Mussia, the children may play in the courtyard, in the stalls or search for eggs from the resident chickens. They may also ask to be taken to the Aquarium in Genova (www.acquariodigenova.it) or the planetarium in Torino (www.ilpanetarioditorino.it).
